Write a formula. Get the answer.
SmartCalcu is a calculator that recognizes handwritten formulas. Switch freely between keypad, handwriting and voice input — recognition and evaluation both happen entirely on your device. No sign-up, no network required, no ads.
What it does
Built for the moments when typing brackets is just too much work
Handwritten formula recognition
Write something like 12×(3+4) on the whiteboard and tap Recognize to turn it into
editable formula text. The recognition model ships inside the app and runs locally on your device.
Three ways to input
Keypad, handwriting and voice, switchable at any time. Typing on the keypad updates the result as you go; voice input turns a spoken expression into a formula.
Fast, and fully offline
Parsing and evaluation are handled by a built-in C++ engine with no server involved. It works right after install — even in airplane mode.
No account, no data
There is no sign-up. We collect no names, phone numbers or location data, and the app contains no third-party ad or analytics SDKs. See the Privacy Policy.
English and Chinese
The interface follows your system language by default, and you can switch between English and 中文 inside the app at any time.
Consistent across devices
iOS, Android, macOS, HarmonyOS and the browser all share the same recognition and calculation core, so you get the same result wherever you write.
How to use it
Three steps
1. Write the expression
Use a finger or stylus on the handwriting whiteboard. Undo a single stroke or clear the board if needed.
2. Tap Recognize
The recognized formula appears in the formula field above, where you can keep editing it with the keypad.
3. Read the answer
Valid formulas are evaluated automatically. If something is off, the app asks you to check it again.
